Every week we will post a new lesson for you and your child(ren) to engage in. There is a short video lesson paired with an engaging activity page for both the preschool and elementary school levels! We pray that God speaks to your little ones in a way that's fun and at a level they can understand!
The Early Church: Lydia's Conversion
11 From Troas we put out to sea and sailed straight for Samothrace, and the next day we went on to Neapolis. 12 From there we traveled to Philippi, a Roman colony and the leading city of that district[a] of Macedonia. And we stayed there several days.
13 On the Sabbath we went outside the city gate to the river, where we expected to find a place of prayer. We sat down and began to speak to the women who had gathered there. 14 One of those listening was a woman from the city of Thyatira named Lydia, a dealer in purple cloth. She was a worshiper of God. The Lord opened her heart to respond to Paul’s message. 15 When she and the members of her household were baptized, she invited us to her home. “If you consider me a believer in the Lord,” she said, “come and stay at my house.” And she persuaded us."

Hello and welcome to Compass Kids’ Ministry!

At Compass Church, we want to help kids find and follow Jesus by providing a fun, safe place where they can learn that Jesus loves them and that we learn about God from the Bible (which we use weekly). We hope to support our families and work together with parents as they reinforce spiritual lessons at home.
We believe in the truth and power of the gospel to save souls, positively change lives, and restore brokenness. In light of this, we long to see all people come to faith in Jesus Christ (according to the Great Commandment in Matthew 22, and the Great Commission in Matthew 28).
Our volunteers strive to relate kind and enthusiastically with each child, provide positive reinforcement, and intentional Bible stories/lessons that are designed to emphasize: God’s unconditional love, Jesus as Lord and friend, and the significance of the Bible.

We are excited to meet you! Kids’ ministry services run during regular service, and volunteers are ready to receive children 15 minutes before the start of service. Let us know if you have any questions!
