WHY?
Many who check-out Compass are exploring faith or are new to faith.
At Compass,“The Bible is our guide.” Since most new people do not bring Bibles, a program with the scripture on it helps them engage with God’s Word, remember the points, and apply God’s truth to their lives.

Programs also include important upcoming opportunities and a Connection Card where guests can provide contact information, indicate next steps, and share prayer requests.

Role
- Arrive at 10:20am. Join others for the Pre-Service Prayer Meeting at 10:35am.
- Pull out program bins, pens, connection cards, & tithe envelopes from the hospitality cart.
- Go to the table in the back of the room to get program sleeves & message notes.
- Stuff the message notes, tithe envelope, and connection card in the program sleeve (with connection card on top) and clip a pen on the top of the program. Lay stuffed programs in the tin bins. (Put all the materials in the top left corner so the pen can hold them in place. Face the long part of the pen towards the front.)
- As guests arrive, warmly welcome them: “Welcome”, “Glad you are here”, “Great to see you”
- Wait with the program bin in front of the worship center.
- First let the name-tagger give people their tags. Then you can hand each person a program.
- As you give them their program, invite them to grab coffee, tea or a snack and find a seat inside. If this is their first time, bring them inside and introduce them to someone.
- Wait outside the Worship Center until 11:15am (for the late-comers).
Before heading in, leave the remaining programs on the table and with the sign that says “Glad you are here! Please help yourself to a nametag and program” (for any who may come late).
